Win a Sewing Machine and Patterns in the McCall Pattern Company x Singer Halloween Giveaway

Halloween 2015 Giveaway sponsored by The McCall Pattern Company & Singer

UPDATE: Congratulations to Samantha Olivas (@samonchrome on Instagram)! She was randomly selected as the winner of this giveaway. We’ll be sending her a new Singer sewing machine and five patterns of her choice.

It’s October 1 and that means time to think about Halloween, the holiday that gets bigger and bigger every year. Can you even go a block without seeing a pop-up Halloween costume store? So glad we know how to make our own, because hand-made costumes are always the best.

And we want to see the Halloween costumes you’ve made! So much so that you could win a new sewing machine and a bundle of patterns, just for sharing a photo on Instagram or Twitter. We’ve partnered with our friends at The Sewing Party to host a fun giveaway this month.

Details:

You can win a Singer® Heavy Duty 4423 sewing machine and a bundle of five current patterns of your choice from any of our brands—McCall’s, Butterick, KwikSew, and Vogue Patterns! All you have to do is post a picture of a Halloween costume you’ve sewn on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #TSPmccallhalloween.

It can be a costume you’ve sewn for yourself, your significant other, your kid, your dog, your cat…you get the picture.

The picture must be posted between 12:00 AM CST October 1st and 11:59 PM CST November 1st. You CAN use an old picture, but you must repost it during those times using that hashtag (you can’t just add a hashtag to an old picture). Make sure you spell the hashtag right! Also, your profile must not be private. One winner will be randomly selected on November 2nd and announced on this post.

Just for fun you can tell us why you want to win, and tag @thesewingparty and @mccallpatterncompany.

Contest is open to U.S. only. You can also enter here; full rules here. Good luck!

Look at these awesome? weird? wacky? vintage Halloween costume patterns The Sewing Party posted on their blog. This has us inspired to do one of our posts where we head to the archives and pull examples of our old patterns. This time, COSTUMES! Might post it next week, so stay tuned…
