We learned with sadness that former Vogue® Patterns designer Sonia Rykiel died yesterday. She was a licensee with us in the 1970s. At the time, home sewers were just starting to sew with knits, and they welcomed the opportunity to make their own versions of Rykiel’s sophisticated and carefree designs.
