Get ready to be inspired and take your sewing to the next level!
McCall’s is pleased to announce we’ve partnered with Workroom Social to bring you a series of brand-new videos for home sewers. Ever wonder how to take one of our patterns, but look beyond the model photo or illustration on the envelope to bring your personal style to life? Jennifer Wiese of Workroom Social is here to show you how.
- Adding touches of leather to your handmade fashions
- Sewing with bias tape to create design interest
- Creative ways to use sheer fabrics
- Custom quilting for fashion sewing
- and more
“Rather than ask you to sit through an in-depth sewing lesson, our goal with these videos is to inspire creativity and more out-of-the-box thinking among home sewers,” explains Jennifer, a professional designer and the owner of Workroom Social, the Brooklyn-based sewing studio. “We show you how to take a McCall’s pattern and then use it as a tool to create your own fashions.”
Starting next Wednesday (4/15) the videos will each be debuted on a different sewing blogger’s website. The videos will also be available on the McCall Pattern Company YouTube channel:
