We love to see what you make with our patterns. It’s one thing to see our patterns on models and dress forms or in illustrations, but they become real to us when we see them on you. Here are some ways you can easily share your Butterick, McCall’s, Kwik Sew and Vogue Patterns makes with us:
Pinterest: We check our fan gallery on Pinterest every day to see what you’re making with our patterns. If you’d like to pin and share your creations with us here, email us at email@example.com with a link to your Pinterest profile so we can sign you up.
Instagram: Another favorite way to keep up with your makes. Tag us in your photos or comments—@mccallpatterncompany—so you show up in our news feed on Instagram.
Twitter: Alert us via Twitter about your makes. Tag us in your tweets—@McCallPatternCo—to show us a photo or point us to a blog or Instagram post.
Blog posts: We love to read your blog posts, because that’s where you can share more photos and talk about what you like or didn’t like about a pattern of ours. The downside is that it’s a little bit harder to always know when someone has written a new blog post about a pattern. I use Bloglovin to follow bloggers, but when you follow 200+ sewing bloggers (and I know there’s tons more of you out there!), it’s easy to miss a pattern post here or there. It really helps us when you put the name of the pattern brand in the post title, like “Review: Vogue Patterns 8945 & 8916,” because then it jumps out in the feed as a post we need to look at.

Update: Wow, we are so thrilled at the response to our first sewalong! This is going to be so much fun! (I may try to cut out my coat muslin this weekend, but first I want to finish up the vest I’m making out of V9034 in a light gray wool suiting.) I’ll post more about the sewalong early next week before I head to the American Sewing Expo. And don’t forget to enter our Fall Into Fashion Pinterest contest. My head is spinning with all that we’ve got going on!
