    1. I agree! Feeling left out…

      1. I know guys, sorry about that. We’ll talk to our UK counterpart about a possible contest for your part of the world, ok?

        1. Don’t forget about Canada!

          1. Next contest!

  2. Awesome I can’t wait to get pinning!

  3. Pintastic! I just put together a fall sewing plan, and I have some other ideas for winter. Even if I don’t win, this sounds like a great way to organize my thoughts!

  4. Hi Meg, sounds like fun! Can the inspiration patterns be vintage originals, or are you looking for 5 that are currently for sale?

    1. Hey I was wondering the same thing about vintage patterns. Do let us know.

      1. Hi! The five (minimum) must be patterns that are currently available for sale on our websites. You are welcome to pin vintage patterns above and beyond those five current patterns.

    2. Julie, the five must be patterns that are currently available for sale on our websites. You are welcome to pin vintage patterns above and beyond those five current patterns.

      1. Thanks for the info, Meg!

  5. What about Canada?

    1. Janet, this contest is somewhat of a test for us, as we haven’t done a Pinterest contest yet nor have we done many social media contests period. If this contest “test” goes well, then we will definitely look at opening future contests to a global audience.

  6. I respectfully agree with the other comments. If you can buy your patterns online from your website and have them shipped to other countries, then why can’t the competition be open to everyone?
If you plan to focus the blog and other social media (and competitions) directly to one country eg the US, then I believe you will be limiting your audience. I don’t think that will sit well with many home sewist.
    Just my thoughts. Kat

    1. Kat, thank for your input. This contest is somewhat of a test for us, as we haven’t done a Pinterest contest yet nor have we done many social media contests period. If this contest “test” goes well, then we will definitely look at opening future contests to a global audience.

  7. I agree with Amanda above. This has been a great excuse to organize a sewing plan. I’ve already sent in my Pinterest link, but definitely plan to continue this throughout the year.

Thanks so much for organizing this!
    Ramona

  8. Great post however I was wondering if you could write a litte
more on this subject? I’d be very thankful if you could elaborate a little
    bit more. Many thanks!
